The Lean JTBD Canvas: Designing Outcomes With Intent

This workshop is a hands-on environment focused on applying outcome-driven innovation in an AI-saturated world. It centres on moving beyond feature requests and speed metrics to clearly define the real job, success conditions and constraints that matter.

In this workshop, Barber guides participants through the Lean JTBD Canvas using a live problem from their own context. The emphasis is on stripping ambiguity away, aligning cross-functional teams and deciding where AI genuinely improves outcomes and where human control must remain central.

Attendees leave with a repeatable method they can use with their own teams, a completed canvas grounded in a real challenge and greater confidence in making design and product decisions that balance automation with human judgment.
