Brian Collins is Chief Creative Officer and Co-Founder of COLLINS, a brand transformation and design firm with offices in New York City and San Francisco. He works as a designer shaping creative direction and future-shaping outcomes across brand and experience-led projects.

Collins’ practice centres on brand transformation, identity, communications, and product design. His work involves the development of design systems and brand expressions working with multidisciplinary teams, leading their clients projects with strategy, design, technology and execution across a range of industries.

Alongside his studio practice, Collins contributes to design education. He has served as a faculty member at the School of Visual Arts in New York, teaching and mentoring. Brian has been awarded honorary doctorates from The Art Center College of Design and The Massachusetts College of Art & Design. He is president of the Art Directors Club, the world’s oldest creative industry organization celebrating design and craftsmanship. Brian has spoken globally on the impact of design on the future at Columbia, Princeton, Harvard, The Next Web, PopTech, OFFF and The Royal Institution in London. Brian was the first graphic designer invited to the World Economic Forum in Davos. He is also a recipient of Bell Labs' Claude Shannon Luminary Prize; named after the father of information theory. The award recognizes those who have a high-impact relevance to the future of human existence.
